Business Development Manager - DACH

Our client is a global technology manufacturer, leading the market with ultra high performance projection systems.  As Business Development Manager you will be operating as part of a world-wide and highly experienced sales team, responsible for meeting customer needs and, driving revenue and profit targets in the DACH region.

The Role

As the company has enjoyed continued growth, a new role has been created to provide increased customer focus in the DACH region, to build the sales pipeline.  The role involves -

• Managing existing channel partners in all vertical markets within region

• Increasing the market share of our products and services with existing channel partners

• Developing  new strategic channel partners in all DACH vertical markets

• Demonstrating products to channel partners, consultants and end users

• Travel within the region regularly and on occasion within EMEA

• Identify and influence key decision makers

• As part of the Sales team, identify, organise and execute our participation in trade shows, industry events and other marketing activities

• Collect and report on market intelligence

• Maintain an accurate, rolling sales forecast and produce management reports or maintain databases as appropriate

• Execution of the agreed Go To Market (GTM) Strategy in the region

• Align regional strategy with central marketing and execute local marketing activities ensuring ROI

 

The Person

We are looking for an individual with a track record of success, who has experience of successfully selling high tech complex products in the B2B marketplace and showing a passion for the product.  In addition you should demonstrate -

• Experience and knowledge of the AV market 

• Technical product understanding and a consultative approach to sales

• Excellent communication skills both verbal and written in German, fluent in English

• Ability to develop excellent relationships within and outside the organisation
