As the Technical Support Engineer (TSE), you will play a crucial role as the secondary point of contact for customers reaching out to the company's helpdesk. Working closely with the dedicated helpdesk team, you'll provide service support for clients, aiming to restore functionality to client assets while delivering exceptional customer service. This role demands excellent customer service, organisational, time management, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide prompt and efficient technical support for ProAV/Video Conferencing and Digital Signage solutions.
  • Collaborate with the helpdesk team to ensure clients receive timely assistance and resolution.
  • Report directly to the Helpdesk Team Leader and contribute to team objectives.
  • Utilize expertise in Crestron, AMX, Biamp, Extron, Polycom & Cisco equipment to troubleshoot issues.
  • Demonstrate understanding of AV room schematics and floor plans.
  • Utilize relevant certifications (e.g., CCNA, Crestron P-201) to enhance technical proficiency.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Minimum 3+ years' experience with relevant equipment.
  • Minimum 1-200 hours of service field or remote work.
  • Cisco ICDN (CCNA prerequisite), Network +, or Polycom PCVE desired.
  • Proficiency in troubleshooting basic to intermediate AV and Video teleconferencing issues.
  • Familiarity with workplace databases and tools.
