AV Project Manager

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead and deliver AV systems projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality and client satisfaction. The role involves overseeing all aspects of project management, from planning through execution, while effectively communicating with stakeholders and managing diverse teams.

This position requires a proactive professional with strong leadership and organizational skills who can navigate complex project environments and deliver successful outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Project Oversight: Manage all phases of AV projects, ensuring timely, on-budget, and high-quality delivery.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Act as the main point of contact for clients, maintaining strong relationships and managing expectations.
  • Team Coordination: Lead and delegate responsibilities to internal teams and subcontractors, facilitating smooth collaboration and task completion.
  • Budget Management: Monitor project budgets, including labor, materials, and equipment costs, to ensure profitability.
  • Documentation & Scheduling: Maintain comprehensive project schedules and documentation, coordinating designs, drawings, and updates.
  • Site Verification: Conduct field inspections to identify and address potential issues proactively.
  • System Programming & Handover: Oversee programming, testing, and final system checkouts, including delivering training and support to clients.
  • Continuous Improvement: Drive process enhancements and contribute to ongoing improvement initiatives.

Skills & Experience

  • Minimum 3 years of project management experience, ideally in commercial construction, AV systems, or low-voltage electrical projects.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to manage stakeholder relationships effectively.
  • Exceptional organizational, planning, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proven leadership capabilities with a focus on team coordination and delegation.
  • Familiarity with audio/video systems installations and related technology is highly desirable.
  • PMP or AVIXA CTS certifications are advantageous.

Qualifications

  • Degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field.
  • Valid UK driving license and passport.

Additional Information
This is a home-based position with extensive travel across the UK and occasional international travel.
