About the Role
As the Engineering Manager, you will lead and manage a UK-based team of talented engineers and specialists. Reporting directly to the Operations Director, you’ll play a critical role in overseeing high-quality design deliverables, ensuring efficient project engineering, and maintaining excellence in technical solutions.

Key Responsibilities
Team Leadership:
Lead and manage a team of 8 Design Engineers, 8 Project Engineers, and 3 CAD specialists. Oversee team leaders for CAD and Project Engineering to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
Workload Management:
Assign tasks effectively, manage workloads, and ensure the right people are assigned to the right projects.
Technical Oversight:
Maintain oversight of design deliverables to ensure high-quality bids and technical solutions that align with project and client needs.
Support & Guidance:
Provide mentorship and technical support to the team on design, project engineering, and system installations.
Reporting & Collaboration:
Report directly to the Operations Director, working closely with leadership to align team goals with broader business objectives.
Ideal Candidate Profile
A strong background in AV design and bidding, with experience handling large-scale RFPs.
Proven expertise in installation and project delivery in the AV sector.
Demonstrated ability to manage and mentor design teams, project engineers, and CAD specialists.
