Pre-Sales and Solution Design Manager

A leading provider of in-store digital engagement solutions is seeking a Pre-Sales and Solution Design Manager to join their UK branch. This role requires a technically skilled, solutions-driven individual to support sales teams, define product strategies, and design innovative AV and digital solutions. The position offers the opportunity to work in an international and dynamic environment, collaborating with internal teams and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

• Consult with clients to define their technical requirements.
• Manage and coordinate solution design phases to meet customer needs.
• Collaborate with internal teams, including Software Development, Delivery, and Content Production, to ensure cost-effective and reliable solutions.
• Support the Sales team with technical proposals and pitches.
• Stay up to date with market trends, competitor offerings, and internal product strategies.
• Design, test, and implement new AV and digital solutions.
• Provide remote and onsite support for installations.
• Produce technical documentation and manuals.

Essential Skills:

• At least 5 years of experience with an AV System Integrator.
• Expertise in digital and interactive Audio/Video Hardware and Software.
• Basic networking knowledge (LAN/WAN, VPNs, firewalls).
• Fundamental understanding of mechanical and electrical engineering.
• Experience in small-scale audio design and commissioning.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to create technical proposals, diagrams, and presentations.

Desirable Skills:

• Strong client communication skills and ability to manage stakeholder relationships.
• Experience with AutoCAD, Visio (or similar), Excel (moderate level), and SolidWorks.
• Ability to coordinate design and development across multiple disciplines.
