Principal Consultant
We’re seeking a highly skilled Microsoft Collaboration Technical Specialist to act as a technical authority for Microsoft Teams, Teams Rooms, Intune, HP Poly collaboration hardware, and the broader Microsoft 365 ecosystem. This is a key position for a confident, proactive expert who can provide end-to-end technical leadership across service design, deployment, security, and support within an enterprise-grade, multi-vendor environment.

Role Overview:
The position demands a profound understanding of Microsoft Teams, Skype for Business, Teams Rooms, Azure/Intune, and HP Poly collaboration devices.
- Expertise in Microsoft Exchange, its integration with Teams, and other Office 365 services is essential.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Intune for device enrolment, policy enforcement, and application deployment, along with familiarity with Windows Autopilot, is required.
- Experience managing Privileged Access Workstations (PAWs) and a strong grasp of Azure Active Directory and Entra ID are crucial.
- You must be adept in security best practices, Microsoft Security Center, and Microsoft Defender. Key Responsibilities: As the technical authority, you will oversee service design, configuration standards, and incident escalation.
- Approve change requests, sign off on device-build guides, and be accountable for high-impact technical decisions.
- Mentor Service Desk personnel and Field Engineering teams, guiding them on best practices for installation quality assurance and troubleshooting.
- Conduct service roadmap reviews, monthly service reviews, and quarterly business reviews with clients.
- Chair weekly technical review meetings and interface with technology providers to standardise solutions and manage vendor roadmaps.
Skills and Experience:
Ideal candidates will demonstrate :
- Expert-level knowledge of the Microsoft Teams ecosystem and HP Poly hardware
- ITIL certification and experience implementing the SIAM framework.
- Strong data-analytics and KPI-driven performance-reporting capabilities
- Proven problem-solving, analytical, and risk-management expertise
- Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder-management skills
- Experience in AV, network infrastructure, and service continuity planning
- Familiarity with UK security-clearance requirements and compliance standards
- A valid driver’s licence and willingness to travel
