Our client is a rapidly growing, UK-based AV integration and managed services company. They design, install, and proactively manage meeting room technology for high-profile enterprise clients across the UK, Europe, and APAC—currently looking after over 1,500 meeting rooms.  They are a strategic, proactive partner genuinely obsessed with transforming workplace technology. Due to continued expansion, they are looking for an ambitious, autonomous Account Manager to join their high-performing team.

 

Position Overview

You will be handed a diverse portfolio of active, dormant, and freshly qualified accounts, and your job is to own, understand, and grow them.

You will spot expansion opportunities before the client does, mapping out their AV estates, tech roadmaps, and pain points to position our client as their long-term strategic partner. Key Responsibilities

Portfolio Management: Own a mix of active accounts, newly closed deals handed over from BD, and warm opportunities passed from the SDR team.

Account Reactivation: Re-engage dormant accounts, diagnosing past issues, rebuilding relationships, and unlocking hidden revenue.

Strategic Growth: Conduct regular reviews to understand client goals and identify upsell opportunities (hardware refreshes, managed services upgrades, additional meeting rooms).

Stakeholder Management: Build strong, multi-level relationships across IT, Facilities, Ops, and C-Suite contacts.

Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with internal design, technical, and delivery teams to ensure client expectations are consistently exceeded.

CRM Discipline: Maintain an honest, accurate sales pipeline and account activity log within HubSpot.

 

What Success Looks Like

In 90 Days: You thoroughly know your accounts, their tech estates, and key contacts; you have re-engaged at least 50% of dormant accounts with a structured outreach plan.

In 12 Months: You have grown your portfolio revenue year-on-year, secured at least one significant expansion per quarter, and established yourself as a trusted advisor rather than just a vendor.

 

Who You Are & Qualifications

Experience: 3+ years in a B2B account management, business development, or client success role with a track record of growing existing account revenue.

Industry Savvy: A background in AV, IT infrastructure, managed services, or workplace technology is a huge advantage, though not a dealbreaker if you can learn technical product sets quickly.

Drive: A self-starter who gets bored waiting for things to happen and thrives on commercial autonomy.

Skills: Proficient with CRMs (HubSpot preferred, Salesforce acceptable), commercially sharp with margins/deal structures, and highly organized.

Mobility: Full UK driving licence for occasional client site visits.
