We are looking for a highly organised Sales Administrator to play a central role in supporting the sales process, from won order through to accurate processing and delivery.

Our client is a well established provider of audio visual and collaboration technology solutions, working with organisations across a range of sectors on a global basis.

The Role

This is a key role within the commercial team, reporting to the Commercial Director, and sitting at the centre of the sales process. Acting as a dedicated advocate for the businesses processes, you will ensure that commercial standards are present and correct across all won sales activity prior to processing, working closely with sales, procurement and warehouse teams to keep everything accurate and on time.

There is genuine scope for the right individual to shine in this role, bringing their own ideas and experience to improve efficiency and the quality of communication across the team, with real opportunity to grow alongside the business.

Key Responsibilities

Sales Support: Assist the sales team with preparing accurate quotations, proposals and contract documentation, liaising with suppliers to obtain competitive pricing and product information, and supporting the coordination of sales events, exhibitions and conferences. Ensure that won sales are accurately reported and supported within the CRM system, and coordinate with sales, procurement and warehouse teams to confirm product availability and delivery schedules.

Customer & Stakeholder Communication: Answer incoming calls professionally, directing enquiries to the appropriate colleague or department, and manage email and telephone communications efficiently and in line with company standards. Follow up with customers and internal teams to resolve queries, collaborate across teams to address customer concerns, and help maintain positive customer relationships that support retention.

Documentation & Reporting: Maintain and organise sales records, contracts, customer files and related documentation accurately and consistently, ensuring everything complies with company policies and standards. Create new client accounts and record information accurately within internal systems, and prepare regular sales support reports, including pipeline updates, customer feedback and other activity metrics as requested. Review sales support data to identify trends, issues and opportunities to improve processes.

What We Are Looking For

Experience: Proven experience in an administrative or support role, ideally within a sales environment.

Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a strong command of English, both written and verbal, and a good understanding of pricing and margins.

Systems: Confident using CRM systems and other relevant business software.

Approach: Strong organisational skills and close attention to detail, with the ability to multitask and prioritise in a fast paced environment.

Desirable: Familiarity with sales processes and terminology, ideally within a technology, AV or workplace solutions related sector.
