Project Manager

Our client is a global technology solutions provider delivering audio visual, collaboration and digital workplace projects for some of the world’s best known enterprise brands. They are looking for a Project Manager with a strong background in IT managed services or infrastructure projects, who understands what it takes to manage stakeholders and deliver for customers.
The Role
As Project Manager you will be the single point of responsibility and accountability for your projects, with direct control over scope, schedule, cost, quality and client satisfaction across the full project lifecycle. The focus is on planning, financial control, risk management and stakeholder communication, leading the engineering, CAD, programming and installation teams who carry out the technical delivery. You will be the client’s main point of contact, building strong long term relationships and managing their expectations throughout.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
Lead all project communications, running client and internal project meetings
Develop and maintain project schedules, monitor budgets and report on financials
Forecast and manage risk, carry out site verification visits and document site issues
Coordinate drawings and documentation, and oversee system programming and final checkout
Produce punch lists of remaining tasks on substantial completion
Contract with other trades and coordinate training and handover to the client, service department and sales
Continually improve established delivery processes
Skills and Experience
At least three years’ experience as a project manager in commercial construction or infrastructure settings
Proven ability to manage all aspects of project delivery, including schedules, financial management and risk management
Degree or equivalent experience required; PMP desirable; AVIXA CTS an advantage
Comfortable working on construction sites, following safety regulations and wearing the relevant PPE
